Disk harrow is one of the more important land preparation machines in arable land preparation machinery. It is mainly used for soil breaking after arable land, loosening soil before sowing, and weeding. It is also sometimes used in place of tilling with harrows, in order to seize time in farming and retain moisture. It is necessary to understand the working principle, use and maintenance of disc harrows.

1. The working principle of the disc harrow.

During the working process, the cutting plane of the disc blade is perpendicular to the ground and forms an included angle (declination) with the advancing direction. Each blade in the group rolls forward with the square shaft. Under the gravity of the rake, the rake blade cuts into the soil, cuts off the grass roots or the stubble of the crop, and makes the chopped clods rise and fall slightly along the concave surface of the rake blade, which has a certain flipping effect. The depth of the rake is related to the weight of the machine and the deflection angle of the disc. Increasing the deflection angle can increase the soil depth of the rake blade and enhance the effect of breaking soil and turning soil.

When raking, the raking direction is the same as the direction of raking. If the soil is loose, it will work well when the soil is broken, otherwise it will be difficult to rake the furrow.

In the process of horizontal harrowing, the traveling direction of the harrow is perpendicular to the tillage strip, which has good soil cutting, broken soil and flat soil cutting effect, but the machine has serious bumps and large resistance.

During oblique harrowing, the direction of the raked field and the direction of the cultivating belt form an angle of 45°. The inclined rake is also called the diagonal rake method. It is a better method of harrowing and has a good effect of cutting soil, breaking soil and flat soil. The unit runs smoothly.

2 Use a disc harrow.

(1) When the hanging disc harrow unit is running, the hydraulic system of the tractor is mostly in the floating position. The left and right limit chains of the tractor suspension mechanism should be in a slack state.

(2) During the operation or transportation of the disc harrow, it is strictly forbidden to stand on the harrow frame or place heavy objects. If a fault is found, stop the vehicle and remove the fault. Do not remove weeds and dirt from machines and tools directly with your hands or feet while traveling.

(3) Disc harrow For new wasteland, paddy land or heavily saline-alkali land with thick turf layer and sticky soil, heavy-duty clearance harrow should be selected to facilitate the breaking of the rake blade and the turf layer. For mellow soils with heavier soil qualities, a heavy-duty disc harrow can be used. If a light disc harrow is used, the counterweight should be increased to prevent the harrow from bouncing and affecting the depth of entry into the soil. Light disc harrows are generally used for soft mellow soils. The stubble after the previous crop is harvested can be used for light double row rakes or heavy duty clearance rakes.

(4) Check the bearing temperature and the installation and tightening of the nut locking plate every 2 to 3 hours for the disc harrow; oil the bearing every 4 to 5 hours. In the case of high soil viscosity after rain and irrigation, the gap between the moldboard and the rake blade is too large, which will block the rake and should be removed in time, otherwise the depth of the rake will be insufficient.

(5) During the transportation of the disc harrow, the angle of the harrow blade should be adjusted to zero degrees, and the weight on the weighted box should be removed. Move the rake off the ground to avoid damaging the road surface or the blades.

(6) When the disc harrow is parked, remove and maintain all double-acting oil cylinders, hoses and quick self-sealing plugs, replace damaged parts in time, and store them in a clean and dry place indoors; use a wooden board to pad the harrow group, and place the harrow Apply anti-rust oil to the sheet. Better to keep it indoors.

How does the disc plow contribute to increased productivity?

Disc harrow is suitable for crushing soil after tillage, soil preparation before sowing, soil and fertilizer mixing and stubble removal for medium and light soil. The rake adopts an integral rake frame with a welded square tube as the main body. It has a simple structure and good rigidity. It is equipped with a combination of hydraulic lifting and falling transport rubber wheels and rolling bearings. The structure is reasonable, durable, convenient for transportation, easy to adjust, and easy to maintain.

Difference Between Disc Harrow and Disc Plow

First, the uses and functions of the implements are different: disc plows are mainly used for tillage and tillage of cultivated land, light disc harrows and medium disc harrows are used for crushing and leveling of cultivated land, heavy disc harrows and combined soil preparation machines Also used for ploughing and ploughing of arable land.

Application of planter

Today, the seeder has been widely used and is a better seeder. Planters for certain types or crops are often named after the type of crop, such as wheat planters and peanut planters. The soil should be cleaned from all parts of the pot. Remove seeds and fertilizer from the fertilizer tank. Especially the fertilizer tank, after being rinsed and dried with water, the fertilizer tank (except plastic tank) should be coated with anti-corrosion paint. Inspect the planter for damaged or worn parts, replace or repair if necessary, and repaint parts with peeling paint.

Features of disc plow

Agricultural machinery with disc plows as working parts. Typically, the disc is part of a hollow spherical surface, the edges of which are ground with a cutting edge for easy mowing and access to the soil. The disc is independently supported on the bearing of the plough column, and the disc surface forms an angle with the advancing direction and the vertical direction, which is called the deflection angle α and the inclination angle β. There are 3 to 6 disc plows on a standard disc plow. When working, the unit moves forward, the disc rolls into the soil, and the soil rises along the concave surface of the disc.

Maintenance of lawn mowers

Lawn mowers are portable garden tools for single use. It is powered by a small gasoline engine that rotates the blades through a drive shaft to accomplish various tasks. It is durable, light to start, easy to operate, and suitable for a wide range of applications, such as trimming shrubs and weeds in forests to promote tree growth, mowing some small lawns, and around roots where lawn trimmers cannot reach. This can be done with a brush cutter. Maintenance should not be neglected when using a lawn mower. The following describes the winter maintenance of lawn mowers.
